Star Dreaming

This is a bit old but it's one of the first animations I did in college and I liked how it turned out so it's got a special place in my heart. I also remember drawing and erasing for hours and talking with friends while working on this, you'd never guess that such a slow process could be so much fun.

Bienvenidos!
Hey everyone! Welcome to my blog! I'm kickin' it off fresh and clean over here at my blog. I recently graduated from Animation Mentor (the online animation school) and I'm searching for work as a professional animator while working on a short animated film to complete my Master's Degree. Yeah, it's intense, but I'm having fun. I'm going to use this blog to post some of my past work, some of my new work, and some updates on my short film! Please subscribe to my RSS if you care for more updates from me!

Thanks!

In addition to the competition, the event will also feature refreshments, a Soft Ice Cream Truck, basket raffles, t-shirt sales, face painting, and caricatures.

Saddle Up for Roswell will display memorabilia of Abdullah
Abdullah
Enjoy the display of memorabilia from the illustrious career of one of the most successful horses the Show Jumping world has ever seen!
Abdullah’s illustrious career was highlighted by his standout performances at the 1984 Olympic Games, 1985 World Cup Final and 1986 World Championships.
Abdullah was purchased by Terry and Sue Williams as a three-year-old stallion in 1973 as an event and stallion prospect. The striking grey Trakehner stallion soon showed his enormous talent for show jumping after a successful dressage and eventing career.
Abdullah embarked on a show jumping career that saw him carry riders Conrad Homfeld, Joe Fargis and Debbie ( Shaffner) Stephens to great Grand Prix success, three World Cup Finals, and selection for U.S.Nation’s Cup teams in Europe and the US. However, it was with Homfeld in the irons that he put together his incredible three-year stretch that ranks among show jumping's most memorable.
First came his double medal performance at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. Homfeld rode Abdullah to a clear round in the team competition to help clinch the United States its first ever Team Gold Medal. The pair also won the Silver Medal in the individual competition.
In 1985, Abdullah and Homfeld finished first at the FEI World Cup Final in Berlin. Then, in 1986, with Abdullah now age 15, he and Homfeld helped the U.S. win another first ever Team Gold Medal, this time at the World Championships in Aachen , now called WEG. The pair served as the anchor for the team, and Abdullah was named Leading Horse of the competition, with Homfeld adding another Individual Silver Medal.
Following Abdullah's jumping career, at the age of eighteen, he returned to Williamsburg Farm in Middleport, NY. The farm centered its breeding program around the stallion, producing a long lineage of Abdullah descendants who would go on to much success including IHF and IJF Championships as well as USEF Horse of the Year awards. One such descendent is the stallion Airborne Monticello, who was on France's 1996 Olympic Team and 1998 Silver Medal World Championship Team.
Abdullah was honored by ‘The Chronicle of the Horse' as one of top 50 horses of the twentieth century.  He was also named winner of the Trakehner Association's Palmenblüte Award five times. This award was donated by the German Trakehner Verband to be awarded to the most outstanding Trakehner in competition. In 2009 Abdullah received the highest honor by being inducted into the Show Jumping Hall of Fame
